Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Car Mandi. By accessing or using carmandi.com.pk and related services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
1) Definitions
- Car Mandi means the online platform, website, apps, and services operated at carmandi.com.pk.
- User means any person or entity creating an account or using the platform.
- Seller means a verified user who lists a vehicle for auction.
- Buyer means a verified user who bids on a listed vehicle.
- Autofy means Car Mandi’s inspection service and its resulting inspection report.
- Auction means a seven day listing where buyers place bids subject to a hidden reserve price set by the seller.
- Reserve Price means the minimum price a seller is willing to accept.
- Credits means digital bidding credits used to place bids, as described in Section 8.
2) Service Overview
Car Mandi connects verified buyers and sellers to trade vehicles through online auctions. Car Mandi hosts listings, performs inspections via Autofy, manages bidding workflows, and facilitates communications between parties. Car Mandi is not a party to the sale contract and does not process vehicle sale payments.
3) Geographic Availability
Car Mandi currently operates in Lahore only. Inspections and operational support are limited to Lahore at this time.
4) Eligibility and Account Registration
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering contracts.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and keep it updated.
- Account security is your responsibility. Do not share login credentials.
5) User Verification
To ensure safety and reduce fraud, Car Mandi manually verifies each user. Verification may require:
- Government issued photo ID
- Contact details
- Dealer license for dealers
- Any other document reasonably requested
Providing false or misleading information may result in suspension or permanent ban.
6) Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Circumvent platform processes, manipulate bidding, or place fake bids
- Misrepresent a vehicle’s condition, ownership, or documents
- Upload unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or infringing content
- Interfere with platform security or attempt unauthorized access
Car Mandi may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
7) Vehicle Listing and Reserve Price
- Every vehicle must undergo an Autofy inspection before going live.
- Sellers must set a Reserve Price, which remains hidden from buyers.
- If the highest bid does not meet the Reserve Price, the auction displays “Reserve Not Met.” The seller has 24 hours to accept, reject, or negotiate with the highest bidder.
- If the Reserve Price is met, the seller is expected to honor the result.
8) Bidding and Credits
- Basic Package users receive 400 free credits. Each bid costs 20 credits.
- Premium Package users enjoy unlimited bidding.
- Credits are deducted at the time a bid is placed. Credits are not money and have no cash value.
9) Auction Duration and Outcomes
- Each auction runs for seven days.
- The highest valid bid at closing wins if the Reserve Price is met.
- Car Mandi notifies the winning buyer and seller and shares contact details to finalize the sale directly.
10) Inspections via Autofy
- Autofy inspection is mandatory for all auction listings.
- Current inspection fee is PKR 3,500 per vehicle.
- Premium Package includes two free inspections per subscription period. All additional inspections are charged at the standard fee.
- Inspections are performed at the seller’s provided address in Lahore.
- Scheduling is subject to available time slots.
10.1 Autofy Cancellation and Reschedule Policy
- You can reschedule for free, subject to availability.
- If you cancel completely, PKR 1,000 will be deducted and the remaining fee refunded.
10.2 Scope of Autofy Inspection Report and Disclaimer
This inspection report reflects the visible and accessible condition of the vehicle only on the date and time it was inspected. It is intended as an independent opinion, not a certification or guarantee. Components not visible, inaccessible, or not part of the inspection process have not been evaluated.
Mileage figures are recorded from the vehicle’s odometer at the time of inspection and are not independently verified for authenticity. This report does not predict future performance, reliability, or maintenance needs of the vehicle.
Car Mandi and its inspection partners accept no responsibility for any losses, damages, or disputes arising from the use of this report. We are not responsible for identifying, verifying, or guaranteeing the originality, authenticity, or condition of any parts that have been replaced, altered, or tampered with prior to or after the inspection. Any liability, if established, is strictly limited to the fee paid for the inspection service.
